- Showcase Pittsburgh’s global assets
- Link multiple Pittsburgh organizations with similar global goals or interests
- Showcase Pittsburgh as a global technology center for youthful innovation

- Pittsburgh, as America’s “Most Livable City,” puts the city in the global spotlight.
- Over 10,000 overseas students in the region attend one of the 35 Universities and Colleges; universities and colleges are exchanging faculty and students and have campuses around the world.
- Pittsburgh’s world-class cultural assets are going global with exhibitions, performances and tours.
- Fifteen countries are represented by Honorary Consuls in the Pittsburgh region.
- Pittsburgh has the 71st largest economy in the world.
- Thousands of Pittsburgh companies trade their products and services around the globe.
- Pittsburgh region has over 50 ethnic communities with global connections.
