¡Hola, Pittsburgh/Pittsburgh Te Invita! Vibrant Pittsburgh Campaign Introduces Region to Latinos, Vice Versa
The Latino population in the Pittsburgh region may be small, but it is growing steadily and many of its professionals are making a positive mark. A few are highlighted in videos produced by Vibrant Pittsburgh, an organization working to grow the regional economy by attracting diverse people to the workforce.
1983: 18.2 percent unemployment at the worst of Pittsburgh’s economic collapse.
2013: A nationally leading economy and more people at work than ever before – a great American comeback!
Ours is a diverse tech – and innovation-driven economy. Job-seekers, take note: 10,000+ jobs are open across the region now. But we’re not all work and no play. For everyone – residents and tourists – the region brims with year-round arts and culture and internationally recognized outdoor recreation. We are a clean, green destination where three rivers converge at Point State Park. Its iconic, soon-to-be-restored fountain punctuates our exclamation: Re-made!
Natives and visitors alike: imagine what you can do in re-made Pittsburgh. Join us to celebrate on these key dates:
